As a virgin to printing I’m just getting to know the racy no that sits in the corner of our work shop occasionally clicking her heels together and letting us all know shes still there. Look at me ! Look at me ! before she settles down and I see the slow pulsing green heart beat throbbing in the corner of my eye. Like most women she’s high maintenance and drinks only the best money can buy at £15 a flute SS21 puts a 1949 Dom Perignon in a corner. shes quick to to the draw and hasn’t disappointed me yet I carefully stroke her sensitive parts on a weekly basis well that’s more than I expect elsewhere. when she draws back the endless white sheets across her heated bed I know I’m in for a surprise and bang she spits it out glorious crisp, sharp vivid images in glorious Technicolor that are so pleasing to the eye they blow me a way. I pimp her wares out to all that will pay and we are both satisfied with our new sometimes awkward but mutually beneficial relationship I’m spending alot more time at work these days evaluating her performance and playing with my new toy.

PS whats the best media supplier for printed Floor graphics anyone got any experience with them, durability, pitfalls, health n safety issues. how you actually print them would be a good start are they a print with thick laminate or do you reverse print onto a clear.

    PS Mimaki CJV30- 130

    or MIMI for short

I also find the fumes from the JV 33 a little overpowering sometimes. Try talking a walk in the fresh air every hour or so. 😮

Great post. Nearly thought I was on play boyprinter.com

Look into the floor graphic system from Flexcon.

A lot of people do floor graphics here. A lot of people loose customers too.

Floors graphics have to adhere for the duration and remove cleanly.

    Not many do both.

Tanks Jason its good to get some feed back
these are going to be on a permanent application so removing shouldn’t be a problem.

Peter the fumes are amazingly not that offensive I’m glad i held back on the ventilation kit its not needed in our work room. i think we have got away with it. MIMI’s calling I have to go now…..

    Neil,
permanent floor graphics will be fine, if nobody walks on them and the cleaner doesn’t brush and polish them to death.
I dont think any of the main suppliers of floor graphic material claim them to be permanent.
nothing lasts for ever, not even Mimi 🙁
