    We’ve never bothered.

As far as I know, the reason vinyl is outgassed is that the solvent in the inks, affects the adhesive of the vinyl.

With posters/banners, that’s not relevant. However, it may be worth giving it a bit of time for the ink to cure, as when we ran an eco solvent machine, it was easy to scuff the print.

Depends on the deadline……….a I have hemmed and eyeleted after an hour for the ink to dry.

    Sometimes I allow 24 minutes…

It’s no where near as critical if you handle it with respect (scuffing). Might be a bit whiffy when the customer gets it but it’s 100% OK.

One thing of note though – if you’ve got say heavy black coverage at the edges it can make the material soft and unless you use good (sharp) eyelets it can pucker a bit…in that case – a few hours drying usually sees it.

I find if its heavy on ink a good 30-45 mins will do the job. I love when i have the time to leave it over night on the roll but that usually is not the case. Just be super careful when moving the print around as its super easy to scuff on the edge of the table, i have lots of experience there 8).
