Printed yesterday afternoon applied WET this morning with application
fluid.Full background coverage of one colour, then given a wipe with meths!!!Is that what’s done it or should i be laminating near enough everything we print? Or was it just not left long enough?(Jetster with eco-solvent)

Don’t clean eco solvent with meths…. A quick wipe will probably be OK, but a heavy scrub, or a wet rag will take the eco ink off.

The down side to eco solvent is that it is not aggressive enough to use anything with high solvent nature. The metho will soften the ink, and rubbing it will then remove it.

Another product that will damage eco inks is some of the slip fluids they sell to replace soap in the water. Got caught big time in the early days when I was using eco inks on a 2400×1200 print. Cleaned a spot in the middle of the print, finished up having to do it again 🙁

That was one of the motivations for me converting to techink full solvent.

    Hope that helps
