  • Primer for wrapping?

    Hi,

    Hoping someone can help…
I’m trying to find a good primer for wrapping car trim etc.

I have just bought some primer95 which was hard to get hold of, but its pretty extreme.
I was told there is a water based primer? wp-3000?

I’ve searched the internet high and low and can’t seem to find it listed anywhere.

I’ve not found wrapping car panels to be a problem once fully cleaned… but just started having a play with some interior trim and small car parts like wing mirrors and have noticed on the wing mirrors especially, the vinyl lifts on the edges.

Primer95 should fix this but i wanted a softer primer if possible.

Is this water based primer compatible with all vinyls??

I have no idea to be honest.
As far as I’m aware it was made for the di-noc series?
I can’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work with other vinyls though unless someone else on this forum could let us know 🙂
