While getting some paint today from my local decorators merchant I noticed a display for some really useful primer
It claims to be a universal adhesive primer for difficult and smooth surfaces ie..
    gavernised steel
    aluminium
    polycarbonate
    stainless steel
    copper
    ceramic tiles
    zinc,glass
    powdercoating
    tin, hard pvc
    etc
I believe it is produced in Holland and comes in 1or 2.5 ltrs
Claimed smooth surfaces normally do not require sanding use brush roller or spray and clean up with water
MATHYS Pegalink is the name ,I shall be try it on some foamex if it does what it says sounds like it could be really handy

Terry, thanks you have bought back great memories, I used to work for this company many moons ago. The products are great try the 3302 aerosol – for hard to paint surfaces and the touch-up aerosols magic. Saves hours and a great finish. Not sure where they are sold now ? maybe Brewers or as in my day a good engineering factor/merchant.

    This sounds extremely interesting Terry
I’d like to give this a bash if I can get hold of it

Do they have a web site or just a phone number

    Hi John,

They used to have an office based in Gloucester ? If you are stuck sourcing, let me know and i’m sure i can rack my brains for a Uk main distributor.

Good luck, they do produce wicked products. If you’ve ever used paint aerosols for touch-up etc..they don’t come close to the products this co make.
