With that much text? Cut vinyl would be about $800 here.
I would put the logo bigger on the sides, and lose the laundry lists.
    Save that for the back.
Nobody will ever have time to read all that text.

I would put that together for £395+VAT.

yea same as jason 390 + VAT
Try and get them to drop some of the text, this will not only make you save time on weeding but will also make them a better advert as it will be readable, the general public/audience like it short and sweet 😕

I could never get anywhere near £390 + VAT for that and would be lucky to get £250+ VAT.

I know areas are different but I didn’t realise by how much.

    Just my take on things.

    Cheers

What sort of materials will you be using?

Not sure who that question was directed at but I would use Oracal 551 on that. I know there is a fair amount of detail but I can’t see much more than there being 7 or 8 meters of vinyl needed. A couple of hours tops to weed and tape and 2-3 hours to clean and apply.

I would be delighted to get £250 for it but in reality in this area wouldn’t be able to.

    Cheers

I’d be looking at 4m of probably 50 series (so under £20 of vinyl & tape) – an hour on the layout if from scratch, couple of hours to cut, weed & tape if in no rush…and all stuck on in an hour just going steady…it’s basically all one colour – a relaxed four hours start to finish for one guy. A fairly good hourly rate no matter which part of the price ballpark you’re in.

I wouldn’t even try and ask for more that 250 round here for that and I don’t add vat either.

    Half a days work.

    I would give them 751.

I’d quote £220 but I wouldn’t get the job as theres a lad down the road would do it for £120. 🙁

Thanks to everyone, for your HELP!!!!

Five days ago I offer to my client £250 incl.VAT but he said that this is too much for him.

I was thinking to use for this job 3M/50series 🙄

    £250 incl.VAT is $366 + tax here.
I would tell him if he could get it cheaper elsewhere to go for it.
I wouldn’t touch a job with that much text for under $800.
I would try to talk him into less verbiage/bigger logo for about $600.
I would use Oracal 751 if in cut vinyl.
Hopefully you didn’t do that sketch without a deposit just so he could shop it around to every sign maker in town.

If a customer balks at a price, tell them about how much more valuable the advertising they get from effective vehicle lettering is, compared to a once-a-year YP ad.
Sometimes they actually realize you are doing them a favor by providing a service to them that the YP can’t.
Tell them "you will make more money from this van than I will!"
    It’s true.
