• previewing EPS files

Posted by MJ Designs on October 1, 2003 at 1:32 pm

    Hi,

I have recently received a CD that has thousands of .EPS clipart files on. They are all grouped into folders such as animals, people etc. but the files within the folders aren’t descriptive in any way.

I have Corel Draw 11 and it won’t preview the files (it will open them though) but it’s very time consuming to open each file to see what it is.

Is there a program or any tips for previewing these files or, even better, a program that will produce a file with a thumbnail of each file that I could print out and use as a hard reference copy?

    Thanks,

    Gareth

    Hi

Have you tried importing them with the ps, prn, eps – postscript interpreted filter this may give you a preview.

    Hope this was some help

I guess it’s an ebay cd

If you have illustrator you should be able to see the thumbnails, as Phill says, Photoshop will print you out contact sheets but beware this does take a very long time for these types of cd.
