Nice work John. My DTG is not working yet. When it is I hope it produces the same quality as yours.
    How does the print wash??
    Earl.

so do I, how well do you think it’s go down at my club? I made it out alive after our last encounter (wearing my red’n’white in a sea of white) but this might be a litttle toooo far! lol

    nice design John

    edit,

John, just a thought, Will they not be wearing the new Admiral sponsored strip for the six nations? 😉

Not my slogan I’m afraid. I just redesigned the images from square flags to shirts.

My new Neoflex printer is capable of printing very high quality images only degraded by the weave/knit of the substrate/shirt. I changed the flags to shirts simply because I print detail and millions of colours.

Earl, I’ve spent a month and lots of trashed shirts to get to this point. I can now produce pretty good print on black shirts.

I love that design simply because it made me laugh. I’m not sure whether I’d wear it out!!! I certainly won’t be advertising them 🙂

Comments noted on Admiral – didn’t think of that & of course ‘our’ Gavin modeling it! What club do you go to Hugh?

Send me a pic or link of the current Irish kit Harry – I’ll put one together 🙂

Yeah thought it strange they used Gav to model it, you’d have thought he’d have a reservation or two about doing that, unless he knows something that we don’t! we could do with a player of his caliber back, awesome centre and back.

my club? Uckfield rugby football club (sussex), I just about scrape into the vet’s and 3rd team! http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/uckfieldrfc/

Henson’s modeling of the new Welsh team kit hasn’t gone down well here, particularly amongst his team mates and Welsh squad. Henson hasn’t played competitive rugby for 18 months!

We come down to Uckfield quite often to visit someone in Ridgeway – probably be there in the next few weeks.

    Hi Hugh,
small world!! I used to play for uckfield colts! We are going back quite a few years, Nick Silvey was in charge of us and his wife Julie was in charge of the chili! Dont know if any of the characters are still about from that Team, Mark de st croix, Nick Oldham, Dimmock, Bruce Booker, Simon Wilson to name a few? We were a pretty strong team in those days! How is the club doing now? I still have a yellow and purple shirt somewhere!

    cheers

    Hi John,
if you get the time i would love to hear your thoughts on your machine? We have looked at lots of different DTG machines and have done tests on a few of them, but could not find one that worked as we wanted it. I have looked at your machine and it was a front runner and we class it as a second generation machine as it came out later than previous models and does address some of the problems these machines seem to have.

    cheers

Morning Dan, sorry I’ve not had the chance to reply sooner – things a little hectic here!

I love this machine Dan. It’s early days for us and the learning curve is steep, not as steep as the embroidery though!

I did a huge amount of research in the months prior to purchasing the Neoflex and there were some very good reasons why I shouldn’t have bought it – probably the greatest being, the lack of a dealer in the UK. However, the Neoflex ‘ticked’ more boxes than most of the others.

I always think the acid test as to whether I made the right choice is, asking myself the question with hindsight; do I wish I’d purchased a different printer? I can confidently answer No.

I carry out regular maintenance and always do a nozzle check before I start to print. I’ve not once had a bad outcome.

I did the same Dan, I’ve been watching DTG printers evolve over many years. The biggest issue has always been the dreaded white ink & clogging. Clogging was an inevitable aspect of ownership, at best it would stop production & at worst required a fortune spent on replacement parts.

Recent developments in textile inks and the delivery systems has improved things significantly. That doesn’t mean the problem has gone away completely but, with the correct maintenance schedule, clogging can be avoided.

Many of the shirt printers available can print one shirt at a time, the Neoflex can load up 3 and print them in one or 2 passes.

The Neoflex can be changed from a textile printer to a solvent printer in just a few minutes. I do have the solvent printer but I need to master textile first before I start on solvent!

Gotta go now, work beckons! If you have any questions, do shout 🙂

    Cheers

    John
