Premium T-Shirt vinyl has changed or is changing to the Premium Plus version. Normal premium is being stopped, apparently. They first brought out Plus with a non sticky carrier. My opinion; dont buy this as all the small dots and detail will lift off and you cant stick them back on as there is no adhesive to stick it to.
They are bringing out a sticky carrier version to compensate for this problem. Ask for this when you order.
Ive just plotted and weeded for 10 t-shirts, took me over twice as long.

Target Transfers. The Premium material was/is a very good product so the Premium Plus should be very good.

Just the same as the version we call PS, so a weeding out tip for you, just put the vinyl on top of the top plate of your heat press for a few seconds to warm through then weed out, it should be a lot easier to do.

I believe the target transfers vinyl can be ironed over with no problems is the PS vinyl the same?

    Cheers

Can’t comment on the PS material but the Target one definitely can be ironed over as I did some tests on it and other materials, that said it did break down after a while so I still tag my garments with do not iron directly over decoration tags. Premium was more resistant though, I’m interested in Nigel’s reply.

Yes you can iron over it but with a warm iron only, me I’m old school and still turn garments inside out to iron.

We do sample packs of the textile films so if you want to try / test some then just give Sue Kirkwood a call.

I use Grafityp’s PS Vinyl. I decided to carry a little stock and push the shirts a little more and seem’s to be going well.

Not had any complaints yet, nice to work with and I rate it a lot more than Doro Tape.

I did some testing of my own, and much to my partners annoyance I kept chucking the same shirt in the washer, and sending it around the dryer for about 2 weeks. Still stuck now.
