Not really much of a question, just more of a rant.
Don’t you hate it when you have someone that thinks they are a designer and give you a file that is in a format that you have no use for? We have a certain employee here that thinks they are helping us out by laying something out in Power Point for us. I can save it as a .tiff, but the problem is it’s 72 dpi and not even close to the size I need, or shape for that matter. Should I tell the person not to bother next time? Although, having a proof to work from made laying out the sign easier the design of it wasn’t that great. Well now that that is off my chest I feel better. Thanks!

I think its an occupational hazard, marek

We have had many weird & wonderful pieces of artwork in, having to match a graphic print to a piece of a ivory coloured wedding dress & a piece of chipboard (both for the same job no less) was the most bizarre.

    Marek. 😀

There’s very little that causes us more trouble than a customer with a computer.

I’ve got one on the go at the moment. I was sent what was supposed to be a Microsoft Works file. It won’t open in anything I’ve got and when I run it round to a mate who actually has Works in his kids computer it won’t open in that either.

I’ve just told them I’m not doing anything until they can send the artwork in a sensible format. Even a printed one!
