With so many of these different units available, what is the average cost to the customer of a finished printed unit.
I’ve got several of these in stock but don’t know what to charge.

we do do these but i guess you have to take into account your media cost, the unit cost and if they are laminated. the budget ones we do start at £150 unlaminated.

Your main cost here can be the cassette, this will determine your price point anyway.

They can range from £25.00 – £150 or more.

Using the cheaper ones and a laminated print I charge around £110.00.

Probably the same ones as me Rob, can’t get that much around here though.

My price didn’t include design work though, that’s the price with artwork supplied.

hi steve i know what you mean regarding what you can get away with charging due to location.

ours doesn’t include design work either, but if they confirm to go ahead there and then, and give a general idea on what they are after include good quality images to use, we will knock a design out and include in the price. but not for a "one off"
i have found simply giving the £150 mark as your starting point useful… some people have very little on the stand so you can say ok ill drop the price a little due to that. or if they have multiples of the unit, same again we can knock £10 off each… that sorta thing.
unit, media, useful etc is going to cost you about £50 using the budget stands etc £100 profit isn’t much to ask for one of these, but i agree we will always get the hagglers… 🙄
