What RIP are you using and does the design have 100% coverage or do you have white parts where the joins are?

    Good answer Mathew.
In the past I’ve found the best way is to let Versa do the work for you. Create your artwork either at actual size or to scale depending on content and file size of artwork. Actual size being the 5 drops added together for the length by the height. Bring this into the RIP and scale if needed. Use your panel/tile set up in the RIP to select exactly the drop width you require. Print and then cut them as accurately as possible. Nothing worse then a nice print with even a slight step when cut. would create a little hole on the join.
Something to consider with the two ends is that depending how the pop-up is to be displayed you will loose some of this round the back so consider how it will be viewed when setting up the artwork.
Hope this makes sense and helps, do know of people who do it differently but i found this way worked best for me.

Yes, just put guides on your artwork so you know where the joins are, that way you can try to avoid small text falling on a join etc.
