    HI All

I have my first Pop Up display to do but it’s replacing graphics on an existing system. That’s good in a way because I can just copy what’s been done 😉

My problem is sourcing the magnetic tape/strips around the edges, it has 13mm wide strips on the sides and 50mm strip at the top, does anybody know where to buy this from in both widths? (I also don’t see why it has the top strip because there is no magnetic contact across the top and has a 3mm foamex strip across the bottom which I presume is to keep the shape when hanging?)

    Cheers

    Warren

Robert Horne do the magnetic. It’s polarised, so you need to find out if you
need the A or B type. The bit at the top isn’t usually magnetic – it may be
plastic stuck on with double sided tape. You will possibly need to re-use this, as
some types of pop-up hang from pins at the top. Depending on the make, you
can also buy a kit for the replacement graphics which includes all this, and the
    foamex stiffener for the bottom.

    Thanks Jamie

Yes this one has the clips at the top but not sure I can get the strip off but that could be the best idea to reuse as is.

Thanks for the heads up about the polarisation, not sure how I’m going to find out as its via a design agency who have picked it up and said it can be redone?

    Thanks for the help.

    cheers

I think Mag A is the one that you put on the back of the prints. That is what we
have used before, and had no come back.

Here’s a link to the Robert Horne one:

Remember getting the same stuff from Bisbel Magnets at one of the shows.
