Looking for some info regarding the above. Can someone advise on suitable material / supplier for the pop up display banner material and would gloss or matte finish be more suitable.

    Thanks

Seen them done in both Bob but my personal preference is for matte, generally speaking people place these where they will be noticed easily which is normally near some sort of light source and with the matte finish you don’t get the same light reflection making the banner content difficult to read.

Thanks for the replies guys, did speak to Robt Horne earlier, they say they supply Hydro Sol material for this purpose.

Can either of you advise if you laminate or not.

    Thanks again

HydroSol is a brand. They make the grey backed pop-up & roll up polyester. We buy it
Robert Horne, although I think they re-brand it as D-Tec.

Recently started using a company called SMI technology who make a pop up material which works out cheaper than hydrosol. I prefer this new one though as the grey has an anti-scratch coat on where as the hydrosol doesnt.

I agree that matte is a better option for these, dries quicker. Laminate – we always do for these, crystal laminate from Premier Paper again is very reasonable, something like £120 for a 100m roll at 880mm wide. Laminates well with minimal silvering.

I use metamark for my roll up banners, they do a great block out banner material, very reasonable too
