I shall be moving to larger premises next month, and will have room in the 10 foot wide window to display A-boards, menu stands etc, as well as projecting signs down one side of the window.

I am really quite excited by this, coz at the moment I get people wandering in asking if I ‘only’ do cut lettering,

What I am looking for are suggestions (all clean & sensible please, – unlike my reply to Pauls post 😳 ) as to what types or makes of products work well for others.

I am also open to suppliers of such goods contacting me if they wish with suggestions, by PM or email, mod-edit

    Cheers M’dears

Hi Lorraine, I am excited for you too, wish I could find a larger workshop.

I have found that A Boards and Wheelcovers work very well, I have a well cover on my wall behind me and the number of people that walk in read it, say “that’s a good idea I could do with one of those”, is amazing. (It says Advertise your business on your wheelcover). I am a great believer in getting the products in view of the customer as it joggs their memory or gives them an idea.

I also have a board with samples of cut out lettering and one with printed items on it(bus. cards, fliers etc).

    Hope that helps

    Dave
P.S. Glad to hear you ‘clinched’ the deal 😉

Hi Lorraine, if you have a look at http://www.moranswoodcomponents.co.uk you may find some ideas for products. I,ve had a few samples from them and their prices and quality are good. Ask for their catalogue.

Thanks Dave & Jim, I now have a printed wheelcover to display, courtesy of Fred Cutler Manufacturing http://www.wheelcover.com, (recommended on UKSB), and Morans are sending some display items, very helpful they both were. Good products too, and excellent prices (IMO.)

I am looking to display projecting signs, menu boxes, etc.etc. Any more suggestions for suppliers gratefully received…………….

Hi lorraine. I was just wondering how you got on with your showroom and displaying pos. I am thinking of doing the same sort of thing and wondered what sort of items did well for you and what didnt. I was thinking of starting with aboards, roll ups, acrylic dislay holders, cable displays and banner profiles. Any feedback would be appreciated.
