We use what ever is laying around, but you could have a word with Heather at Victory designs, As she was talking to me about some vinyl for the PC60 the other day – 01246 570570.
All the best

thanks all ,i have been using mac tac 9800 but was worried about damage to ther head using a wrong vinyl
could this happen ??? -
I use 651 for small stickers (its slightly thicker and feels more substantial) and 751 for everything else. I tried some avery, but it didn’t seem to be much different. I’ll try some others in the New Year, let you know.
Did you get the PC60 then Rich?

been using 9800 white for years for the 60 but other vinyls have caught up.
its dust and grit thsat damage the head and must be kept well away from the spray drust.

thanks i have noticed if there is any dust or tiny bits you end up with missing print im getting used to cleaning now is meths ok to use and ok to clean head and rollers etc
-
i think your panel wipes should be ok for vinyl but store the vinyl in a plastic bag if kept ok you should never have to clean the head as the head is wiped before every colour change on the cleaning pad on the left of the platter and that should be changed regularly.
