Plasti-dip is crap as a car colour change, only good for temp coatings of badges and whatever.
it is like spraying stainless steel with a coat of paint with zero primer or prepping being done.
once its dry, scratch it and it will scratch. hit that scratch with a pressure washer or car wash and an entire door, or section of the painted car can come away in one bit. the coat has no grip on the surface which is why once bored with it you can easily peel it off. to even get it to this level of "ease of removal" you need a lot of coats to build it up to form a layer that can be gripped and pealed without snapping instantly in little bits.
I have done wrap training all over the UK and the amount of people to come on our wrap courses that has either tried plasti-dip, whilst others who own platidip coating businesses. none recommend it for anything other than emblems and small parts/things.
