Stephen I am on my way out the door. But real quickly, you are using colors which all my life I have been taught not to use with red.
Red on red (?), process blue on red causes eye vibration, and black on red lacks contrast.
I would re-think your color choices to start.
No amount of white outlining is going to help.
The layout itself is not that bad.

The name reminds me of a certain time which all women go through…
How about a nice digital print of a gorgeous blushing woman…? -
Hi guys, thanks for the replies.
The "logo" is the customers already so the layout and colour is not for changing, which certainly makes it difficult because the truck is a dark metallic red.
I have considered wrapping the rear pick up section in some kind of water ripple/ splash…
the difficult thing in my mind is there are a lot of varying contours on the bodywork as well as less "open" spacing to put any real information

That looks really choppy and clashes.
What about a thick white horizontal stripe down the entire side of the truck, then put their logo on top of that?
You could even play with gradient fades on the white stripe if you were careful.
I didn’t realize that the layout could not be changed. -

Would have been nice to have been told that in the original brief Stephen 🙄 🙄 😀

Apologies for not mentioning that…..i suppose there may be a little room for change if it looks good.
cheers
