photo to vector
Posted by Adam Ross on November 26, 2010 at 12:09 pmHi
Could someone please recommend a company that could vector a football club badge for me.
Unfortunately I can only obtain a photo of it from the customer.
Cheers
Adam

Vectorwise is it Andrew? On here I think. Someone else will get you his contact details.

Or you could just do it in corel….. X5 has a trace bitmap feature, although it takes some getting used too, but will save you a few quid. I ofter have to do fire service badges and logo’s from photos.. take me about half hour now on an easy one and about 45 mins on a complex one

post the pic, maybe someone will have a go for you, or already has it as a vector
copyright could be an issue though

As Peter says – post up the pic.
However, vectorising is a basic skill that all signmakers should at least try to become good at.
Whether automatically with software or manually by drawing over a scan with vector nodes it’s often surprisingly easy.

Vectormagic do a online or standalone pc version,
I have the standalone which is pretty good!
However if your using flexisign you can vectorise it in that,
