    Permanent marker for vinyl?

    Does anyone know of a permanent marker that will stay on vinyl? Don’t know why I’ve not come across this before but I quoted a job where the customer wants to be able to write something on each sign but now that I’ve done some tests have realised the permanent markers we have just rub off! Any suggestions?

    i have used either CD pens or Sharpie permanent markers both worked on oracal

    As Kevin says, both work but limited in nib thickness.

    Id go to Staples or other stationary shop with a bit of vinyl and try out various pens.

    Failing that maybe sell it to the customer that dry wipe marker means he can change the message as he wants!
