Perforated cut decals, advice needed please?

You can cut them out individually simply by increasing the cut pressure until it cuts right through the media. It’s sore on blades (use cheap ebay ones for this job) and the cutting strip but by turning it upside down and sticking it in with double sided tape you get a second go with the strip. Once you get the pressure correct it works great as long as the stickers aren’t to big. Biggest problem will be picking them up from the floor and sorting them into order. We do a lot of perf cutting with approx 100g cut pressure, 250g perf, 50mm space, 2.5mm half cut, & 1g half cut pressure. Hope this helps 🙂

It has been many years since we have done stickers like this. By that, I mean perforated and handed over individually.
We do supply a lot of stickers and labels, but they are just contour cut, weeded and cut into 12-inch batches by the width of the roll which is normally 48-inch. they are then stacked, rolled-up and given to the customer to lift the stickers off themselves, as and when.

Granted customers may request them in the fashion your providing. but in my experience for stickers, their priority is the price and perforating and cutting takes some time. And as David rightly says, the blade and cutting strip takes a battering but not forgetting, so will the head carriage mechanics on large volume work. Just make sure you are charging accordingly.

We’ve one customer who can order 1000’s of these at a time.

Bit of trial and error, but a longer cut. and short perforation. Easier to pop out, and also much quicker to cut.

Sorry to hijack this post but I have a customer who is looking for 2000 small keyring inserts(24x35mm) with his branding on them I have played about with different options but the cuts are rough I had tried using vinyl and cutting right through but tempted to try another material can anyone help ? im running a VP540 on versaworks using corel x7 thanks in advance

I wouldn’t entertain them in a large format.

We would run it on our Xerox and guillotine them down.
