    Anyone help ???

i’ve used bt yaho browser for years now (in it various constantly changing manifestations !), way back when, i imported my bookmarks from IE into my bt browser,

now i’m losing my bt internet account, i wanna remove the bookmarks from the browser, ie export them somewhere for use in whatever browser i use next, a bit like ya can do with your address book perhaps ??

any ideas ?? IE doesnt seem to have the import facility to take them from bt browser ?

ps, anyone reccomend a good free web browser, i’ve heard of netscape and firefox, anyone use them ?

    Help !

Firefox is a great browser. In IE all you have to do is copy your bookmark shortcuts to the Windows Favorites folder.

What Operating System are you using?

Download and run Firefox it doesn’t take over anything runs on its own and doean’t change anything in there you may be able to import your favorites to it.
Or look in windiws explorer for you bt browser and in there should be a favouites folder copy to ie i assume.

Have you tried the help in the browsers web site or FAQ someone else must have asked this.

Never heard of BT Yahoo browser… strange.. i guess it is using Internet Explorer and just badged.

If your on a new internet provider, get the CD’s and re-install, it might change your config. Then again, it might not

Your bookmarks should be in your “my Documents folder” under the root c:/ drive. easier to talk u through finding it via voice than typing out instructions.
