hhmm if my memory serves me right its both are just adhesive backed mate.
what i would say is to peel them back and make sure you clean glue residue out the little recessed area that houses the pad and the cutting strip. i think the pad has a slightly risen section, take note of this and make sure it is replaced exactly the same way. should only take 5 mins to do.
the cutting strip is just as easy, but i stress to clean the recces properly.
then insert the strip after peeling off the release paper. start at one side and work your way to opposite end, pleacing it in neat and “level” but not firm!. once in place, take the back of a plastic ruller or even a stiff squeegee, start from the middle and pressing firm drag it towards the outside eliminating any areas that are unlevel. you dont want a lump in your strip, it will cause you bother when cutting. once you think you have all in place doe some test cuts up and down the strip. just a small line of text running up and down the length of strip and try weeding. if its all ok.. get back to work 😉

hope that helps some, 15-20 minutes tops for both should do it.
    not hard at all…
