  • Pavement sign with a water base. Advice needed to make the base or sourcing one?

Posted by John McNickle on January 7, 2021 at 11:02 am

I’ve been asked to remake an old-style butchers pavement sign.
But I am having trouble sourcing the water base part.
I can make a wooden one but thought it would be easier and better with a plastic base, can anyone tell me if they know anywhere to get these, please?

    Thanks

    John

I am sure signwaves sell the parts for their pavement signs. water bases are part of the big ones.

I think Karens correct John, you should be able to buy the water base separate as an accessory. the trouble I see is how you would fit that to your wooden pavement sign without fixing it to the base, without puncturing it. as you can see these are purpose made for the metal frame.

I think signwaves do wooden stands too, so probably will be able to advise you regardless.

Smack a screw with silicon into it Rob, just like my customer did. 🤣
