Partial Vehicle Wrap: Hummer h3
Posted by sgraphix on November 2, 2005 at 1:07 amHey guys we did a partial on our personal H3. It was a little different from the Scion that i posted pictures of. This one i paid attention to the time. It took about 4 hours to design everything the 3d part is a hi res photo and the boxes are all made custom one at a time. The printing took about 1.5 hours a side at 750dpi on the sp300 30″. The install took about 4 hours with everything.

Bitchin’ Dude!
You Rock!I really like the Transistion fill… (the riveted panels) Did you create it?

Thanks guys. That is mine and my wife’s like the car with the tiger we did that we showed you pictures of. We like the truck allot. Do you guys get the H3’s where you are from? They are smaller than the H2’s. and better gas mileage We took it to a car show a couple of days ago and got 1st place for SUV. We even wrapped a little remote control car we did to match the truck.
I seen something like the boxes a couple of years ago on the Internet but i took each box and brought it into photoshop and gave them the look they have. The fill i started with was from Aurora i just changed the colors a little. And the bottom picture was just some cool design i found on-line. i attached pictures of the little remote truck
Thanks again.

we have them here yeh, but NOT common. well not around scotland anyway, seen some hummer limos running around too…
the small ones a nice touch too 😉 -
Nice work. Thanks for sharing.
We can get Hummers here, but they are very, very thin on the ground. Even an H3 would be expensive to run at our fuel prices, whereas the H2 would be totally impractical on our narrow congested roads. It would need two parking bays down at Tesco. I would still like one though! 😀

Kickin D00d.
I would love to see the design as a demo, what do you think rob? -
Put my vote in for a wrap design demo!!!
I’d pay for it 😀 -
Nice work Greg!
It’s amazing how different the cars are in Europe compared to the U.S.
Greg, Steve, ever hear of a Vauxhall?

the original humvs, were supposed to replace the jeep. the civi versions are not worth a carrot, impractical, fuel guzzlers. etc.
It was unfortunate that in middle east warfare, they had to follow tracks that had been etched in the ground by normal width cars/trucks/jeeps/toyotas over many years. becuase their track width was to wide they turned out to be a bit of a failure,Peter

Nice job.
The H3 really is economical at 16mpg 😉 Still, with us lot subsidising your cheap ‘gas’ you can drive those sort of vehicles!
-
sorry guys the wrap looks really good, ignore my idealistic comments about big egotistic 4×4 that are only good for the school run 😉

Nice job! 😮
The hummer is not that common here either. Our Jails used them as a perimeter patrol, but they were a huge mistake, cost a heap to keep repaired and now they sit in storage at the tax payers expense 👿
Found this on the net too, never seen a stretch one.
They are a real testosterone thing tho, would love to park one in my drive (even if just to get up the nose of my toyota 4×4 pain in the rear end neighbour!!.)
