    hey all,

here’s a job we completed this week, it’s an old nissan truck wich needed a bit of a revival.

being an old truck wich has had quit a number of accidents all the bodyparts that were replaced had a different colour, making it an ugly son of ….

we tried to colormatch the red but the paint was so faded by the sun it was go with what we had.

the thing had like a zilion rivets and not one piece of the truck was straight it was banged up beyond belief, i tried to photograph them i’ll just show you all the worst bumps and scratches.

anyway the customer loved what we’ve done with it and said he now didn’t have to hide his face when he drives through town :lol1:

anyway here’s the pics i took of the job.

Not keen on the font or the distortion.
The lettering in the pictorial needs to follow the circle.
I don’t mean to sound so critical,
but when every part of everything is highlighted,
    nothing stands out.
You would have had more success in making all the lettering white,
and highlighting the name with blue.
    Love….Jill

Well done mate, if the customer was happy then you should be pleased.

Jill’s comments are very valid tho, and may be good to keep in mind for the next job 😛

    apreciate the positive critics.

designing was done by me but i have a good explanation:

custumors colours are a blue letters (comic sans ms) on a red background
it was a budget wrap so only parts were wraped and the things i did do had to have the text “total party service” the list of selling things and the website also i had to put the little guy in (wich i drew by hand for him when he wanted a logo some time ago.) i know it seems a bit off when you look at the finished product but i had to cover up the blue, green and black panels that where fitted as repaired, the entire job was done in between a rock and a hard place, from designing to fitting.

i really wished i had taken some before pics so you could see what i am talking about, just think of it as making something less ugly :lol1:
