    Hi all, a customer has asked us to print to a colour reference Red 185 CV i have a pantone chart and the references on it are for coated and uncoated, so what does the CV mean please????

    Quick Suffix Overview:

    U = uncoated paper
    C = coated paper
    M = matte paper
    CV = computer video (electronic simulation)
    CVU = computer video – uncoated
    CVC = computer video – coated

    😮 😮 😮 😮 😮 😮 😮

    still baffled lol

    think i will print out what the computer thinks it is and start from there

    so that is what CV standsfor.. always thought the C bit being coated and never figured out the V… but Computer Video makes sense.. means the value was taken from a pantone chart from corel/illustrator.
