I used to obtain extrusions from a company called Express Metals and plastics. However, they ceased trading last year. I now buy extrusions from Europoint but they are quite lightweight and flimsy and not very good for larger signs. They also supply a much more substantial and heavier version of this trim at about 25 pounds for a 6 metre length (minimum order 10 lengths) , but I’m sure there are more cost effective options available.

john phils right europoint do the trim and so do amari. i found some of the euro stuff a little flimsy myself for the larger signs and mostly use the amari stuff. really for quickness as much as price, they are only 10 mins drive from our place.
the stuff i used in my demo i bought from amari.
im sure they just buy from universal who are the ones probably best to try and get hold of. sorry i dont have a number handy.
if im right i think peter posted somthing a while back with their number on it.. but not for panatrim i dont think. 🙄

hope this helps in some way.

We don’t do many signs, in fact we actively avoid them, so I’m probably not the best person to give advice but when the occasion arises we get the frames from Kestrel Signs in Birmingham.

They are made from a three part extrusion and are a lot stronger and more professional looking than Panatrim.

They are delivered to our premises ready made up and with the panels already fitted, if required, which we always do.

All we have to do is to slap the graphics on, travel to site, remove the panel, screw the frame to the wall and re-fit the panel. Quick and easy.

These frames are a little more expensive than Panatrim but when the time saved in manufacture and erection is taken into consideration it is probably cheaper overall.

I was told by europoint that they only stock extrusions in Glasgow and that they would not transport them down to london as they get damaged in transit!!!

You could try Cherwell Sign Supplies tel: 01280 840297

We use Amari and Universal. Found Amari really helpful. If you go on the amari website, put in your postcode & it will let you know where your nearest shop is. 😀
