Got a job to do for a local company who want signs makign to hang off scaffolding at their jobsites.

    They wont entertain banners.

What they require is Red lettering on a yellow background. I have quoted for Palight 5mm board from Cherwell but am wondering if there is a cheaper alternative.

The signs are to be 2off 1200mm x 900mm boards and I dont really want to go into the realms of laminating white foamex.

I believe I have quoted to cheaply for these items and need to make a bit more profit using cheaper materials.

Why not just use yellow foamex if you don’t want to floodcoat white Paddy ?
Why do they not want banners, a lot of builders use banners with pole pockets top and bottom for the poles to slide through. They would last much better than foam which is a bit fragile and is liable to break easily.

Hey Paddy, How “cheap” would it be if the customer had to constantly replace damaged signs? Go the banner mate.

How about using Correx Paddy, you can get it in 10mm thick.

As the others say try explaining your customer that something like pailight/forex etc will damage easy and they will need replacing far sooner than a banner would.
