    Here are two pictures.
The sign was painted by my dear friend Bill Berberich.
Unfortunately, he has been replaced by computers.
But he still paints walls with me sometimes.

How long would something like that take to paint? Amazing work.

    Marek,
Bill would make the patterns in house, then pounce the wall or billboard
    with graphite powder,
then sketch in with charcoal as needed.
Lettering was usually mocked up on site with a yardstick from a scale drawing.
He mixed all the paint on the ground (with a butterknife to stir!)
He is a great posterizer, the pictures up close look like blobs of color but seem to blend from a distance.
A job like that probably was a decent two day’s painting or better.
The Butt-Wiper wall was probably done in a day.
Bill is fearless. I never knew that I was afraid of heights till I was on scaffolding with him painting a barn,
and just for thrills he kept jumping up and down.
Needless to say, the remainder of my painting was done with one hand holding on to the railing in a death grip.
We are doing a wall this Saturday together.
He will be at my Letterhead meet this summer if you feel like making the trek…so far I have folks lined up from Canada, California, Las Vegas, New York, Scotland, and maybe even Romania!
    Love….Jill
    PS
Here are two more pix, this was in the now-razed Three Rivers Stadium.

His nickname is “BZRK” (berserk) from being so fearless.
