Personally think, could be a bit of sour grapes by the organisers…
maybe a bit underhand by "Paddy Power" but think scum is a bit much… :lol1:

They say there is no such thing as bad advertising and that one is great, they are advertising in 3 different ways
    1. The visual impact it has
    2. utube
    3. the contriversy debate

I have had a PP account for years but in my oinion that is a very clever piece of advertising and a nice looking sign also.

Need to log on and see what deals they sre doing on the ryder cup now.

    Regards

    Russell.

They used the sign at Cheltenham Races earlier this year. Impressive structure the way they can put it up quickly. Bigger than the real Hollywood sign.

    Quote:

"As the world’s longest freestanding sign locals believe it has the potential to become one of the country’s most recognised landmarks, even becoming a tourist attraction similar to its sister sign in Los Angeles.

Security on-site has reported a steady stream of curious punters travelling to the site to have their picture taken by the record breaking sign.

The colossal Paddy Power sign is a staggering 270ft long eclipsing the previous world record holder which stood at 160ft long and also dwarfs the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles."

Hats off to them…you’d need more front than Blackpool to not cringe a little bit but I doubt they have broken any laws with the temporary structure.
