dunno mate, i can’t do owt with it in corel 12, seems more like a layered jpeg to me, there’s nothing i can automatically add a contour or outline to. what ddi you create it in?

i normaly do it in corel with the freehand tool save the line as a red hairline then in tools go to palette editor, pick a colour and in the selected colour palette name the colour as cut contour….then when its saved in your rip the outline should appear as a blue staggered line 😀

i should’ve added to my original post, "can’t do owt automatically!!" you’d have to draw a feehand line around and mess about with the noddles,

if the image was crisper sighlab would contour it, but its very low res, and the "HT" is to white to give good definition.
Is that all you have to work with John? I could climb the side of it with all the steps…maybe quicker to recreate? and then contour cut.

I also tried and the results are not so good because of the 3D bevelled effect on the text.

Sorry mate, best to draw freehand or print, trace and scan.

    Cheers

As Peter has already said the image is very poor, however I could get this correct with more time but the image is not worth it if this is whats going to be printed

    have a look at this

It was just a play about to give an example of how poor it looks but just for fun.
I find using flexi very easy to add a countour but as its been said when doing it the way I do I need to work from a good image which is the norm most of the time
