Please if anyone can help id be greatful.

when trying to import a file into corel I am getting this out of memory error message.
I have loads of memory on the hd, Ive expanded the memory on the parallels vm, I have gone down all the usual routes…but there must be one im missing.
Im running X5 on a XP professional VM on my lovely imac.

I may have to go down the re install corel route…it just takes sooo long…so ill give this a go.

where im getting the problem is trying to import from my impact disk as an eps into corel…ive found I can rectify this problem by importing as an AI file… Ive never had this happen before tho and am curious as to why it would be doing so now…but at least I can get round it at the moment to get on with my work…

    HI Cheryl,
I used to get this on Corel 12, still do occasionally but it’s not an issue on X5, which I use 95% of the time.

I know I had this problem before, and asked about it on here. Can’t find the thread atm, but from memory I think it had to do with allocation of system resources in Corel. I’ll keep looking for the thread.

I had a similar message to yours Cheryl when the print spooler stopped working. It was something like 2 corrupted print files that had failed to print – cleared these and the spooler started again, and the messages ceased to flash up.

May or may not be connected to your problem
