brilliant unit mate… love the up and over roller shutter… perfect size for your/our line of work… i take it you can get a bus in there?
-
That’s great Phil. What size is the unit? And are you renting or buying it?
-
Looks a good size from the pictures and as Robert has said a roller door at that height is ideal for getting vehicles in, what do you have in the way of office space for production of the graphics.

Hi all,
We have 3000 sq ft in total, plus a mezzanine floor giving us a dedicated fitting area of just over 1000 sq ft, about 400 sq ft of office space, the rest being given over to production and stores. Unfortunatley Rob we are going to have to alter the doors, we need another 150 – 200mm to get a full height double decker in.

nightmare! oh well… i am sure it will be worth it in the end mate. nothing better than to be able to everything in-house that you offer your customer.
on a different note. i have never wrapped a bus. when it comes to double deckers, do you ever get asked to wrap the roof also?
-
Years ago we use to signwrite/respray double decker buses. they were just too high to get in the work shop so we use to let the air out of the tires and drive them in flat. Might be a cheaper option if you dont do them every day of the week. We use to wrap the roof on buses that go through tourist highrise areas. Havent don them for years now. I dont think people have the budget for it now.

Congratulations, and good luck with the new workshop Phil.
