• OSHA Symbols

I tried posting this in the Graphics Section, but it wouldn’t let me. Anyway, my question is, does anyone know where I can get line art for the OSHA Symbols? I download some of the pdf’s from their website. Some them open as good line art in Illustrator, but some of them the symbols are an actual font. Any help would be appreciated. I tried doing a google search and don’t really see any place they can even be bought on a CD / DVD.

With Corel originating from your side of the pond, the clip art that is on the product CD’s have most of the symbology you are after. I still have my Corel 3 discs!!!

Is the font embedded? Corel X3 can import pdf and in many cases can convert the font to curves on import. Might be worth a trial download, failing that what is the link to the file somebody here may be able to do it for you.

Thanks for the quick response. Yes the font is embedded. I was going to try to find the font, but when I opened it in Illustrator the font that it said it was missing is called "Untitled-1". It seems that those might be some custom symbol fonts. Either they didn’t want people to be able to pull the line art out, or it was just a mistake of not converting them before making the pdf. We have most of the common standard symbols already. The ones we are looking for are a "No Diving" "Please Watch Your Children" (this is really just an icon of a family), and a "No Holding Breath" symbol. I can’t find the link where I got the pdf. I try to do a search on google for the file name, but nothing came up. It must have been removed. I might try to download the demo and see if it will open. I don’t see an option to attach a file here.
