  • Oracal 751C on boats, advice please?

    Is it good for a marine submerged environment surviving it I mean? Opinions please. If not what do any reckon is the most suitable.
    Thanks in advance for any help on the matter.

    Haven’t used the oracal on boats, but any high performance cast should do the job if you edge seal it, but the lifespan would be about half of its normal recommended.

    I think it would be OK.
    I’m tempted to say to use the 951, but since the 751 might be a bit thicker it may be slightly sturdier?
    If you are worried about fading go with the 951.
    (for reds or yellows)

    i’ve supplied 951 stripes for VERY expensive yachts and fishing boats – no problem, I also sell a lot of smaller boat stripes and names, 751 is fine but I more often use 551 for them these days – never had an issue with any of those three films.

    i have had problems with any of the 751c metallic won’t use it anymore not a happy bunny at all with it.
    solid colours seam to be very good used on boats etc.
