a few weeks ago shane posted some pictures of his work on an iveco using oracal 851. i mentioned i also use oracal on a fleet of ivecos our company does work for. only difference is i use 751 on them.
i have never ever had any complaints from this customer regarding vinyl deteriation/pulling out etc anyway, thought ide show shane the ones i was going on about…
i did another two of these today, shown below….

(just for the record, i do not advise just anyone using this vinyl in this way. proper preperation and proceedure is required.)

Whoooh! Lots of gulleys there Rob

    All done dry ‘n’ all

There is certainly a lot more elasticity in the calandered vinyls on the market today especially the Oracal (751)

I’ve still got a few old rolls of vinyl from way back when and it so stiff and brittle as well as thick. It awful to weed too. Not fit for much except the cheapo’ small sign

    John,
I know a few years ago “Victory” was offering to take back & exchange any unpacked rolls of vinyl that you still had on your shelves after 3 months!

I have found out same as you that it seems to go a bit brittle with age.
    Long John.

Rob I am consistantly having problems with this curve. All the others conform, but on the last 3, this pops everytime after about a fortnight
