    quick reply…

go for one that you can buy both .com and .co.uk
how many times have you typed in a web address and got the extension wrong? own both and point both to the one site.
or own both and point one to the site, but keep the other idle. that way your competition isnt going to snap it up.

Very difficult to find domains that are available nowadays, Robert… finding ones you like where the .com and .co.uk are there is a nightmare.

if you currently use a web host, i would go with them. it saves things being disjointed, web domain, website, images etc all hosted under the one roof. changes to where domains point etc is normally sped up slightly when under the same roof. it also means you dont have to transfer domains over time which can cause some down time too.
some members will remember this is why i "lost" one of my own domains once. it was on with a very old web host and my card expired. and i over looked it as i have around 200 domain names. lesson learned the hard way. 😀

I would go with something like easysignmakers, think it is important to give the potential customers an idea of what you do in the name.

Graphics & artwork are to general & could just be graphic design businesses.
reprographics & printworks to me are more for a litho print company
signlab sounds more like a trade company to signmakers & concepts could be just about anything :lol1: :lol1:

    Sorry don`t like easysignmakers.

    whats wrong with easysigns?

the domain will have gone, but a hyphen to seperate them or add your Town name

EASYSIGNS for the trading name. http://www.easysignsleeds for the web address

We too suffer from a poor name choice when we first started, ATM we are talking about a re brand. ( better go register all the easy names LOL)

Denise, kindly pretend you think it’s not that bad and is growing on you… it’s already booked.

To be honest, I hate the word Easy so I’m not offended at all by any of this. We chose our name using a split testing experiment and for some reason using the word easy in the domain name beat all the others we tested for — you can use adwords for split testing and that’s how we did it.

Anyway, it’s done… it is what it is… so be it… now the grim task of somehow making it work begins.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I agree with Denise – definitely do not like "easysignmakers".

But at least you didn’t spell "easy" as eazy
