  • one piece or sections

Been asked to quote on this job and i’m wondering if i should print and fit in one long piece or print it in sections and overlap the joins.

Its just the tyres at the bottom not the red striping.

    Any advice would be great.

    Hi Matt
Since there are natural breaks where the tyres join and any overlaps would be easily hidden I’d make it easy on myself and go with sections on this one

good god thats what i was thinking… Not done much wrapping since I went on the course. Would you recommend to print it onto clear vinyl or onto white vinyl?

Oddly, I would do it in one piece…so I don’t have to bother about joining sections. It’s not that big (l o n g, but not ‘BIG’).

Absolutely print it on white vinyl…white vinyl is waaaay brighter than a white van. Clear printed then laminated looks rubbish against a white background…kinda yellowy.

Definately with Dave re: vinyl – go with white 😎

I’m with dave on both counts. White vinyl and 1 piece. It’s not too big to manage on your own and less joins does leave a better finish and takes out any chance to have an error in lining it up

I would do it in one bit as well, as Dave says it’s not big just quite long. This is pretty basic straight forward stuff so take the opportunity to practice some of what you were taught on the wrap course, if you start with fairly easy jobs it will help build your confidence.
