    Hi again,

I wonder if any of you can offer advice. I am trying to open up a colour logo in Omega – but each time I attempt to import it with spot colours I end up with a single colour image and then when I check in ‘order’ it shows the process cmyk and not spot colours.

Why am I getting a single colour ? it looks as though it is just the cut lines but when I click to view all or alter the view I still only have the one colour and not the print colours.

why too am I unable to import the file and use spot colours ? It has three clearly defined colours on a white background.

I am going crazy here repeating the same steps over and over. 😥

If you are trying to import an image you cannot convert to multiple spot colours, only 1, you can only import images (jpg, gif, bmp, tiff etc) to process colours.

The only way to get spot colours is to import a vector like illustrator ai / eps file, you will then have the choice in the import modude to secect convert to process or spot colours.

Hope you understand this, it is all down to what your original is.
