    Hi all
as said Old sign, new materials. Customer wanted the original look but with new maintenance free materials. Sign frame is a powder coated finish, panels are ali comp that as been rubbed down painted with Cellulose, then colour sanded & mopped back to a shine. The depth of gloss is not done justice by the photo’s.
The design is just the original that has been on the pub since the 1980’s.
Nothing fancy just made a little different to the normal.

That’s very tasty Kevin, love the simple classy look….what’s ‘colour sanding?’

    Hi Harry,
colour sanding is using 1200 grit wet & dry to get a flat even surface on the fresh gloss paint then using a G3 compound to mop up the paint to a high gloss again. This if done right gives a nice gloss with lots of depth
