I know you run your OKI’s Chris so thought your best to ask.

I have some LG A4 white adhesive ‘LG199SW’ that I have previously run through my Minolta 7300 no problems with a nice print.

Just run it through an OKI C5450 with all genuine OKI toner etc that I have recently acquired as my 7300 is out of action at present. The print is coming out lousy.

Do you use the LG media? if so what driver settings?

If you don’t who’s white adhesive media do you use?

    Cheers

    Tim.

    hi tim

i have only used clear SA that i scrounged when i bought it and its polyester rubbish, the print is fine just hate the material.
settings are for transparency’s, static is the problem with a lot of plastic type materials with lasers.

how is the print lousy, is it blurred or not fusing properly.

Hi Chris thanks for the reply.
Fusing is fine, print is blurred.

Far better output from the minolta 7300.

When I selected transparency it gave me an error type mismatch or something. Can you feed from tray and select transparency?

    Cheers
    Tim.

anything stiff of more than 100gsm put through the multi purpose try as that should be a straight path. also to exit face up.
if you have the option set the thickness to auto. or med to heavy weight.

make sure that the driver is not over riding the printer settings by setting the driver to use printer settings.

you can ring me in the morn if you wish.

Thanks for the PM Chris I’m going to have a play when I have time, I will call and pick your brains if I can’t get prints to improve.

    All the best.

    Tim.
