Why is it so hard to do anything for yourself?
Our renovations have been dragging on forever.

    Sales Desk Before:

    Sales Area after:

New flooring, new desk, new counter top. I finally finished the counter top today. It is covered in 3 different plastic laminate finishes and has a curved front.

The graphic in the middle is a section of our logo swoosh.

    Private Office before:

    Private Office after:

New desks, new flooring, paint, panel display, soon to be new computers front to back.

Now I have to get going on wall displays, video monitors etc. This will happen soon!!!

Excellent makeover Duncan! It’s a lesson to me just how our office presentation can transform our image. I’d do something the same if could just find the energy! πŸ˜€

Thanks folks. Martin, my main domain is in the shop. It looks much more "lived in" πŸ™‚ Laurie, Darlene and Kathy enjoy their tidy work environment. Frankly, it makes me nervous.

Looks excellent Duncan, well done mate!
that logo section graphic on the desk makes the counter looked curved for some reason. either that or i still have vodka in my system from last night. πŸ˜‰

It might have been the photographer that had the Vodka in him Rob. However, you are correct, the front of the counter is curved. The swoosh is a section of the swoosh in our logo. The counter is about 13′ long and the biggest sheet of laminate I could get was 12′ long. So rather than a straight seem, I inlayed the wood grain laminate to hide the seem. It was a bit of a challenge, but turned out okay. The wood grain laminate is a close match to the flooring. Start to finish it took over two years. I built the carcass in two days, used it for a work table for 2 years. Then it took 1 day to do the laminate and install it. Sheesh, it’s amazing what you can put off. A 3 day project spread over 2 years.
Now I’m short a workbench, and we still have a counter, where’s the logic in that?
