Just literaly got back in from seeing BB King at Sheffield Arena, I’m buzzing, Man he can still play and sing like a twenty year old and he’s 80 this year. Wish I could say the same for Gary Moore who is on his tour, he was one of my favorites in the 70’s and 80’s time has not been kind to him…..he was good but not the Gary Moore of old. 😎

Saw Gary Moore a few yrs back, have to say the noise covered up a lot of dickey playing. Hes someone who is not growing old gracefully -

Harry, spot on about Gary Moore I realy liked his early stuff and was looking forward to seeing him as much as BB but felt let down. The rest of the band were very lethargic and I would go as far as to say the bass player was rubbish……….they reminded me of the casino lounge type band. BB did play the thrill is gone and it was superb but he didn’t play Lucielle(spelling)? Nik good idea, I’ve listened to a few tracks today just to remind myself what he was like and I have to say hes better on cd.
