I remember a crossing back from io man after the tt races a few years ago very choppy, we laid down on the floor of the bar, it didnt help, bikes covered in salt water, not a good crossing.

The wind here (Hebrides) at the moment has been gusting at 80-90 mph, though it seems to be subsiding at the moment!
