    Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of numberplate making equipment. At the moment i use cut vinyl letters and apply them to the back of dry acrylic then stick a reflective backing on, but I have started to get a lot of people asking me for the type of plates that have the logos on the side, much like the ones on fancyplates.com. Does anyone know what kind of equipment is used for this and where abouts I could buy it?

    Thanks

    James

Don’t mean to hijack the thread, but does anyone know who supplies the honeycomb type of rear no. plate (the one which allows light to shine through from behind, as opposed to light shining down on front, is this making sense?).

Would be nice to be able of offer these at a good price.

Don’t worry about hijacking, that was going to be my next question anyway! i can’t find anywhere that does them, my current plate supplier has stopped doing them because they are illegal.

    Are they? 🙁

I know a few people who’ll be worried about this, especially me 😥 , since that is the type of rear plate on the TVR.

    TVR Panels

Yes i’m afraid the dvla has made these illegal as they contain a honeycomb pattern. Only illegal if you supply one today !

If you still want to supply them let me know, we have a few in stock !! and can source more if required. Not cheap thou :lol1:
