Now I have had my fair share of these…..

This is not a moan either….
    the opposite is true….

It was not until I recieved a letter from my original lender that I (reluctantly) acted on it…filled in an online form which I couldn’t remember half of the answers to… for a property that I had moved out of 3 years ago… and BAMMO!! got an offer through the post.

It was only because my current postman brings me the letters which are addressed to my old house that I had gotten the letter at all…

So my advice would be go for it!!! You could be missing out on money that has been discarded in a letter because it simply hasn’t been able to find you..

    😀

I got about £500 back from Lloyds who’d sold me the insurance on a credit card some years back, my argument was a simple one… when I opened the account I specified that I was self employed… a profession which is not covered by the ppi’s redundancy cover! mis-sold!

I did it myself to be fair, you get all the lolly then. go to http://www.moneysavingexpert.com and search it, they have templates to download and send off – you just personalise them.

PPI does payback… my friend had many loans/credit cards over 10-20 years… had about 5-6 payments… £5000 or so
