    that it probably would, monster of a fish, every anglers dream.. or nightmare! shame he’s gonna freeze it and show it off rather than eat it mind. to see such a creature killed in the first place, especially as a trophy, is quite sad i think.

    I kill and eat plenty of dogs and smoothies (very common uk shark species to about 10kg) but something like that ought to be allowed off the hook, so to speak.

    all that said, at least it’s still got it’s fins!

    Hugh, Vic Hislop is one of the best authorities on the Great White Shark. He has a museum here that is dedicated to sharks, good and bad.

    I don’t think the hammerhead is good eating either from what I’ve read. Ends up as cat food I think.

    I’d rather see it on display than destroyed tho. Sharks this size are what folklore is made from.

    Pesonally I’m not a fan of the shark in general, but the hammerhead is harmless to humans, no known attacks on anyone anyway,,, that have lived to tell the tale at least.
