Not picking up pinch rollers help
Hello All, our 540sp versacamm has stopped picking up the pinch roller positions. Can anyone shed any light on which bit might be faulty? It started playing up last week, now wont read anything.

I’d look at replacing the cut cable and guides first. Fairly cheap simple to do and worth doing every so often as they are a common failure.

Thanks stafford! After hours of googling last night cut carriage cables and the pinch roller sensor seem to be the first two ports of call. Will get them ordered today.

ok i am about to order the following:31299102AS nylon rivet set
22715463-00 cut carriage board
23415119-00 cable Assy pinch sensor
21655311-00 cable holders
23475238-00 cableis there anything else i might need? I have printed the following sections from the service manual. 3-4 tool carriage replacement and 3-14 flexible cable replacement. I just wanted to check that i have the right parts and that i am looking in the right areas. Is there anything that is recommended to be repaced when i swap these parts? Would you suggest doing carriage cables first?
