    Hi Nigel,

Just wondered how you got on getting that printer down them stairs and if the pub next to hotel in Newcastle was any good, promise wont tell anyone if you enjoyed it in there but you did make a nice couple 😛

On a serious note though thanks for all the help and advice you gave me on tuesday and next time I wont forget the beer

Gary the Newcastle man in charge wouldn’t let us take the printer back down the stairs…….H&S and all that, but we could carry it up another flight and take it down thru the car park…….as in push it down the four levels of car park and ramps, except the the car park was rough concrete and we ended up having to carry the damn thing down four levels (hot)

Now Ibrox was totally the opposite, easy access and a lift that we could fit the printer in 😀 and the best was when things got quiet a wonderful lady called Jean who works for Rangers gave us a full tour of the ground, found out later from a Rangers fan at our hotel we got taken to parts of the ground that you don’t get to see when you pay for a tour………a fantastic ground and history that I was lucky to see.

Thanks to all those who came to say hello and soz Mr.Wilson but our hotel was in the middle of nowhere and so we couldn’t get to go out in Glasgow, but the Dakota hotel is a great place to stay for anyone who is interested.

haha yeah but the m8 is just behind us… the business park has been growing for years and years… chungwah picture tubes was one of the first huge Chinese companies to move into the park. for commuters between Glasgow and Edinburgh dakota or should i say eurcentral is very central. ist also bang in the middle of various hotels as well as half a mile from the main cnnecting point to the motorway that takes your right to England/M6 etc…

i believe David Coultard and someone else owns the Dakota. theres another in connecting at forth road bridge and several in England. very good value you for money. i read their tact was to offer a 5 star type hotel at similar rates to city travel lodges and premier inns. works for me… but as you said… if you want to venture out, you have ten minutes in a taxi… but for £12 and land in city centre… you cant grumble. see… if ide know we would still be in there now! ide not have let yous home! :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

that said, your mrs would have probably sent a hit squad for me by now! . 😉 :lol1:
